Since September 1, Finland will significantly reduce the number of tourist visas for Russians. This was stated by the head of the Finnish Foreign Ministry Pekka Haavisto, reports Yle.
The department has prepared a model of priority for issuing visas. Preference will be given to those who seek a visa for family reasons. The Ministry claims that such a system will reduce the number of tourist visas issued.
In addition, Finland can introduce a new type of humanitarian visas specifically for Russian journalists and activists who are forced to leave Russia.
