In Azerbaijan, the process of returning forced immigrants to the original lands in the regions of the republic, which was liberated from the Armenian occupation, continues.
in the framework of the program “Great Return”, initiated by the President of the country Ilham Aliyev, 23 families consisting of 90 people were sent to Fizuli.
Citizens were held from the Garadag district Baku with a ceremony with the participation of officials of Azerbaijan.
Note that on August 5, the State Committee on Refugees and Forced Migrants of Azerbaijan held a draw, as a result of which families settling in their native lands as part of the first stage of return were determined. 144 families took part in the draw (509 people). Taking into account the composition of the family, 51 of them were provided with two -room, 76 – three -room and 17 – four -room apartments.
Until now, these families have temporarily lived in Baku, Sumgayt and the Absheron district.
