First Lady Erdogan Visited An Orphanage In Astana

The first lady of Turkey Emine Erdogan, as part of a visit to Astana, was visited by the support center for children in difficult situations.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Astana with his wife to participate in the 24th summit of the heads of the state of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

The first lady Erdogan visited the support center for children in difficult life situations under the akimat of Astana, and also met with children and youth living there. Emine Erdogan was informed about the work of the center, which contain 76 pupils of various nationalities aged 3 to 15 years. The first lady also gave the pupils of the center gifts and looked at the stand with photographs taken during her visit in 2017.

The children of the center, which is also supported by the Turkish Agency of Cooperation and Coordination (Tika), read poetry, and also presented their works.

The representatives of the Center expressed satisfaction of the support of Turkey, and also thanked the first lady Erdogan for the visit.

Emine Erdogan was accompanied by the Minister of Health of Kazakhstan Alnazarova Akmaral Sharipbaevna, Tika coordinator in Astana Hikmet Ozdenoglu and officials.
