The first lady of Turkey as the chairman of the UN advisory council for non -waste production will also take part in a number of programs as part of the conference.
During the meeting with the UN Secretary General, the fight against climate change and environmental problems will be discussed. The emphasis will be made to work on the implementation of the Zero waste project, initiated under the auspices of Emin Erdogan.
The first lady of Turkey will inform the head of the World Organization about the work of the UN Council of the UN for zero waste.
A meeting of Emine Erdogan with the Executive Director of the UN Development Program (UNDP) Ahim Steiner is also planned.
Emine Erdogan will meet with young climatic volunteers at an event called “Ecological Education”, organized with the cooperation of the Zero Waste Foundation, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Public Fund “Zamin” from Uzbekistan.
As part of the program, the first lady will take part in the launch of the campaign to land trees in the Shamakhinsky district of Azerbaijan.
COP 29 will also open the joint Pavilion of the Center for Solidarity. The Steve Pavilion will open as part of the initiative of the Zero waste project, which was started by the wife of the Turkish president and the chairman of the UN Council for Zero Erdogan, and with the assistance of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, headed by the wife of the president of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva. The Center for Solidarity will be in the public “green zone” COP 29 and will be available to the conference participants, representatives of the private sector and non -governmental organizations.
29th conference of the participants of the UN framework for climate change (COP29) will be held in the capital of Azerbaijan Baku on November 11-24. One of the main topics of the conference will be climatic financing. In the temporary zones created on the territory of the Baku Olympic stadium and around it, conference rooms will be located.
