The first lunar mission of Pakistan Icube-Q, which will provide important data on the location of the craters on the surface, is successfully displayed into the orbit of the Earth’s satellite.
As Dawn writes with reference to the Cosmic Technology Institute (IST) in Islamabad, the Icube-Q Kubosat was brought to the orbit on the Chinese missile from the Wenchan cosmodrome as part of the Chan-6 lunar mission.
IST noted that the ICUBE-Q is working in accordance with the plan and the images made by the satellite will be published after testing. This initiative is an important event that will allow Pakistan to organize large -scale space missions in the future, ”says IST.
icube-Q, equipped with two cameras for shooting a lunar surface, will remain in orbit from 3 to 6 months and send the received images around the world.
Kubosate will provide important data on the location of craters and traces of water and ice on the surface of the moon.
