The games of this year are devoted to the valiant victory, whid of our army and the people in the 44-day Patriotic War. Even the team members of the Football League of lawyers added honorary names to their names, which remind the glorious pages of the Great Victory. Participants of the 3rd AFL are the football teams “Absheron-Shusha”, “Lawyer Hankendi”, “Barrister-Jabrail”, “Adalat-Agdam”, “Kypaz -murov”, “Lavers-Argyunash”, “Veterans – Hudafarin”, “Inter-Lachin” and “Sumgait regional-Gubadla”.
The first matches of the 3rd round of the Champions Football League, dedicated to victory, took place on April 3, 2021 at the Stadiums “Sportster Arena”. This time the tournament is carried out in accordance with the agreement between the Board of Lawyers and Affa. For this reason, the game is managed by professional judges appointed by AFFA.
The first round, as every year, presented surprises to the fans of teams. So, in the first meeting, the team “Barrister-Jabrail” with a large score (5: 1) beat the current champion, the winner of last season, the Absheron – Shusha team. In the next meeting, the Adalat-Agdam team, claiming the championship, with the expected result won over the “Veterans-Hudafarin” team (7: 2). Other meetings were also very interesting.
One of the interesting points is that on the eve between the board of lawyers and the Baku State University, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed. In order to strengthen cooperation and friendship, the Faculty Faculty Football team was invited to participate in the tournament outside the competition. The team of the “Law Faculty”, in the first round was able to play a draw with the team “Advoca Hankendi” (2: 2).
The following tournament games are scheduled for April 6, 2021. The amateur tournament is held in accordance with the rules of quarantine, outdoors, without the presence of viewers. The main authorized person in holding the tournament is a member of the Presidium of the Board of Lawyers Elchin Usub.
