First person died of monkey smallpox

The first case of death due to monkeys was detected in Nigeria.

As reported on the website of the National Diseases Control Center (NCDC), a 40-year-old man died. He had “concomitant diseases”, and he took the vomiliar immunity of the medicine.

According to WHO, 257 cases of infection in 23 countries have been recorded in the world, another 120 have not yet been confirmed.
