In Kazakhstan, the Silk Road railway tour opens. The first flight in the direction of “Almaty – Turkestan – Tashkent – Almaty” will start on November 16, 2024. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Kazakhstan.
International railway tour in 4 days will allow tourists to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of ancient cities and go on a journey along the traces of the Great Silk Road. The route includes the key attractions of Turkestan and Tashkent. For the convenience of tourists, the tour program provides for the guide, food, transport service and input tickets.
“As a result of joint efforts, it was possible to create a unique railway tour that connects two countries. Travels will become more comfortable and accessible to our citizens and tourists from other countries who want to find out about a rich spiritual and historical heritage. This is an important step in the development of tourism and the strengthening of cultural ties between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, ”said Yerzhan Yerkinbaev, vice -minister of tourism and sports of Kazakhstan, -whose words are given in the message.
Travelers will be able to see one of the most ancient cities in Central Asia – an echo that was an important trading link. The tour program also includes a visit to the Arystan-Baba Mausoleum, the Historical and Cultural Museum of Azrets Sultan, the largest tourist complex in Central Asia Caravan Saray. In Tashkent, the participants of the tours are given the opportunity to get acquainted not only with historical objects, but also by the modern development of the city.
It is noted that the international tour is launched by Passenger Transportation JSC together with Taukomek Travel, Turan Kazakhstan Trevel, Grand Soluxe Travel Company, Skyway Travel, Kompas, Khan Turan Travel. In turn, JSC “NK” Kazakh Tourism will help promote the route at the international level.
