First Turkish Ambulance Plane Arrived In North Macedonia

The first Turkish ambulance plane, which will deliver the victims as a result of a fire that broke out in a night club in the city of Kochani in the east of North Macedonia, arrived in Skopier.

Ambulance plane sent by the Ministry of Health landed at Skopier International Airport to transport 3 people injured as a result of a fire to Istanbul.

Turkish ambassador to Skopier Fatikh Ulusoy, told Anadolu that 59 people were killed as a result of the fire and 155 people were injured.

He noted that the authorities of Northern Macedonia were asked to send the wounded to Turkey, whose condition is especially difficult.

Ulusoy emphasized that they quickly resolved this issue thanks to the instructions of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan: “The ambulance sent by the Ministry of Health of Turkey is currently lucky for three wounded young people to our country. He will drop them in the Cham and Sakura hospital in Istanbul.”

According to the ambassador, the second sanitary aircraft of the Ministry of Defense is already on the way. With this aircraft it is planned to transport 6 wounded to the city hospital Ankara Bilkent.

Ulusoy recalled that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also made a written statement on this issue and reported that it would follow the wounded, delivered to Turkey.
