The international rating agency Fitch Ratings has raised its forecasts for Brent and WTI crude oil prices.
According to the agency, the improved outlook reflects a stronger than expected recovery in demand, a new OPEC + manufacturing policy, a global economic recovery in the second half of 2020, as well as a small impact of the latest restrictions imposed in connection with the pandemic.
Fitch increased its forecast for Brent crude oil prices for 2021 from $ 45 to $ 58 per barrel, for 2022 – from $ 50 to $ 53, WTI – from $ 42 to $ 55 for 2021 and from $ 47 to $ 50 for 2022 year.
