British Urban Air Ports announced the launch of Aerotexi project until the end of 2021. The first in Europe and the world of a hub for a flying taxi UK Flying-Taxi Hub will appear in the English city of Coventry, writes Bloomberg.
The founder of Urban Air Ports and the project manager of Ricky Sandhu stated that after a few months, the hub will hold demonstration flights to Coventry, which is about 400 thousand people. For air movements, the Altitude Angel system will be used. Its technology will allow aircraft operators, drone, emergency service helicopters and general-purpose aviation safely divide airspace.
The project supported the Government of Great Britain and allocated 1.2 million pounds of sterling on it.
