The construction of another 410 private houses intended for the families of the Shahids and Disabled War was completed, the construction of 54 individual houses is nearing completion, the collegium held at the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population reported.
According to the press service of the Ministry, at a meeting, the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the population, Sakhil Babaev, emphasized that caring for the families of the Shahids and disabled warfare is one of the main activities of the department. Babaev noted that the program for providing housing or private houses of citizens of this category has expanded many times in recent years, and the plan for 2022 is successfully implemented in this area.
The meeting discussed preparations for the opening of the DOST No. 5 Center in the Khatainsky district of Baku, as well as new social facilities in other areas. It was brought to the note that in the near future the DOST Center and the Center for Professional Education in Bard, the Children’s Rehabilitation Center in Shamkir would be opened. Capital repairs and construction of a new building of the neuropsychiatric institution of social services in Shemakh was completed.
At the meeting, it was reported that last year, at the center of inclusive development and work of Dost, trainings were organized in 8 more areas of activity. Of the 281 students of continuing education courses to 200 are people with disabilities and members of the Slahids families, the rest are persons deprived of parental custody, members of low -income families. It was emphasized that a comprehensive rehabilitation work was carried out for training participants. Positive results have been achieved in the development of creative abilities and the psychosocial state of persons who participated in training.
Work was affected in the direction of creating new subsystems, registers, information resources in the areas of labor, employment, and social protection. This year, the number of applications on the E-GOV portal amounted to 8.9 million, 9.7 million on the E-Sosial.az portal. 280.5 thousand proactive appointments were carried out, while more than 157 thousand social insurance numbers were opened in proactive form, more than 466 thousand electronic certificates were issued.
