For first time in 15 years: Israel will visit Chavushoglu

The Foreign Minister of Turkey Mevlut Chavushol on Tuesday will go on a visit to Palestine and Israel, reports TRT.

According to information, Cavusoglu will take part in a meeting of the Joint Committee of Foreign Foreign Affairs of Turkey and Palestine, which was created between departments of diplomacy of the two countries in 2010. In addition, the head of the Turkish diplomatic will hold negotiations with his Palestinian colleague Riyad al-Malika and the head of the Arab state, Mahmoud Abbas.

On the same day, the Foreign Minister of Turkey will go to Israel, where he will negotiate with the Foreign Minister Yair Lapid. At negotiations, it is planned to discuss bilateral, regional and international issues. Local media are paying attention to the fact that the visit of the Treetian Foreign Minister to Israel will be the first at the official level for 15 years.

Earlier, Chavushoglu informed reporters that during a visit to Israel it is planned to discuss the issue of re -returning ambassadors and a complete normalization of relations between the two countries.

In March, Turkey was visited by Israeli President Yitzhak Duke, the main purpose of the visit, as he noted, was a reboot of bilateral relations after the crisis in 2010, when the Israeli special forces captured the Turkish steam of Mavi Marmara, which was going to break through the blockade of the gas sector, after which Countries reduced the level of diplomacy and withdrew their ambassadors.
