Germany for the first time in history sent fighters to the Indo-Pacific region, Kyodo reports with reference to the German Ministry of Defense.
According to the publication, the aircraft will be accompanied by a fleet directed for joint exercises in the region. It is noted that Berlin sent 6 Eurofighter fighters and other military aircraft, including air tankers.
The German Fleet will take part in exercises in Australia together with 17 countries, and then go to Japan. Military aircraft will also perform missions in South Korea and Singapore.
