To free the Suez Canal from the Ever Given container carrier, it may take a long time. Peter Berdovsky, the head of Boskalis, which works as a job, took a few weeks to it, reports Reuters.
According to him, the ship looks like “huge lying on the shore of Kit,” and what exactly to do with it is not very clear. It is possible that it will have to combine several methods, including removal from Ever Given containers with cargo and fuel, the use of tugs and a sand erosion under the vessel.
On the eve, the administration of the Suez Canal reported that the container ship was trying to remove eight tugs from the mel. On Thursday, March 25, it became known that until the operation was completed, the navigation had to suspend, that is, the channel remains blocked.
