Russia “very likely” will have to export part of the oil in the “ceiling of prices” established by the United States and the allies if Moscow does not dare to reduce supplies. This was stated by the head of the American Ministry of Finance, Janet Yellen in an interview with Bloomberg.
“They will look for customers, and we think that it will be difficult for them to sell all this,” the minister said.
The US Treasury expects that on December 5 a “some decline” will take place in deliveries if Moscow does not decide on oil supply at a price lower or at the level of the Western restrictions.
