Foreign Minister: Baku received positive messages from Yerevan

In the next document received from Armenia, positive messages were seen in Baku.

This was stated by Minister of Foreign Affairs Jaykhun Bayramov at a joint press conference with the Hungarian colleague Peter Siyyarto.

The diplomat noted that Azerbaijan is committed to a peaceful agenda and the corresponding steps are taken in this direction.

At the same time, the minister recalled that the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence and other official documents of Armenia contain territorial claims against neighboring states, including Azerbaijan. “In Armenian society, discussions are already underway on this matter,” he said.

The minister called unacceptable the fact that officials of Armenia are parallels with the legislation of Azerbaijan. “Because Azerbaijan has no territorial claims to any country,” Bayramov explained.

The head of Azerbaijani diplomacy added that such thinking of Armenia can mislead the international public.

The Minister also touched on the state of economic relations between Azerbaijan and Hungary. He stated a significant increase in the volume of bilateral trade, noting that the parties intend to increase it.

Bayramov added that the Hungarian companies are actively involved in the restoration of Azerbaijani territories freed from the occupation of territories.

Peter Siyyarto, in turn, voiced the main priorities of Hungary as the chairman of the European Union.

According to him, Hungary as the chairman of the European Union, three priorities. “We plan to attract those who have wanted to join the Union for many years, deepen the energy security and competitiveness of the European Union,” he said.

Jehuninism emphasized that one of the main priorities is the development of the economies of the European Union.
