French Foreign Minister Stefan Sejurne said that Armenia “continues to follow the path of freedom, despite threats, frank hostility and the desire of Russia for repressions.”
During his visit to Yerevan, Sejurn held a joint press conference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan.
Foreign Minister of Foreign Affairs noted that Paris will continue to support Yerevan.
“Despite the threats of Russia, frank hostility and desire for oppression, Armenia continues to follow the path of democracy and freedom, moving step by step. Know that you can always trust us in issues of democratic values,” he said.
According to him, the defense support of Armenia France is aimed at ensuring that Armenia can protect its territory and people.
Mirzoyan, in turn, stated that the negotiations discussed the continuation of mutual support at international sites, they expect France to assist in negotiations on the liberalization of the visa regime with the EU and in the cooperation of the EU Armenia.
Foreign Minister of France was adopted by the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.
