Armenia Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan congratulated Mark Rutta on the assignment of the post of general secretary of NATO and expressed hope to strengthen close cooperation with the North Atlantic Alliance.
“My sincere congratulations to Mark Rutte with the appointment of NATO Secretary General. We hope for our close cooperation in order to further strengthen the partnership between Armenia and NATO, based on common values and a common vision to ensure a safer and more peaceful future,” wrote it Foreign Minister of Armenia on the social network x.
Mark Rutte took office of the Secretary General of NATO October 1. Previously, this post was held by Jens Stoltenberg.
