Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jahun Bayramov met with Kyrgyz Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeenbek Kulubaev.
This was reported by the press service of the Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry.
Negotiations took place on the fields of diphorum in Antalya (Türkiye).
During the meeting, urgent issues of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan were discussed both in the bilateral plane and on multilateral platforms, as well as the prospects for expanding cooperation in various fields.
Jehun Bayramov expressed satisfaction of the mutual support of the position of the two countries on multilateral platforms, and also emphasized the importance of cooperation on platforms such as the UN and organization of the Turkic states, noted the importance of the summit of the heads of state and the Governments of the OTG, which will be held this year in Shusha.
The Minister also informed the colleague about the preparation process for the 29th session of the conference of the parties to the UN Frame Convention on Climate Change (COP29).
The ministers also discussed the process of normalizing relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia and the issues of restoration and reconstruction in the territories liberated from occupation.
