Today, a telephone conversation was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jahun Bayramov and the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran Hussein Amir Abdollahian, the press service of the Azerbaijani foreign policy.
Bayramov and Abdollahian discussed topical issues of the bilateral agenda, as well as the situation in the region.
The parties stated the need to resolve the situation in the relations of the two countries, fears about public rhetoric and other existing problems within the framework of mutual dialogue and mutual understanding. In this regard, the need to establish relations between press secretaries of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was noted.
During a telephone conversation, ministers exchanged views on other issues representing mutual interest, and noted the importance of continuing contacts.
