A historical chance has appeared to achieve peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jahun Bayramov at a joint press conference following the results of the 9th tripartite meeting of the heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia in Baku.
“There is a historical chance to achieve peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia. To ensure peace, it is necessary to comply with the norms and principles of international law. The international community must also take steps to encourage the Armenian side to lead honest, open negotiations with Azerbaijan,” the head of Azerbaijani said diplomacy.
According to the minister, at the meeting, he conducted an exchange of views with colleagues regarding relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, steps taken by Baku in order to establish peace.

According to him, at today’s meeting, interaction in the field of economics, trade, high technology, tourism and other issues was discussed.
