Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili in Geneva, as part of the 58th session of the UN Human Rights Council, met with the UN Secretary General Antoniu Gutherrish. This is stated in the press service of the Georgian Foreign Ministry.
According to the statement, the parties discussed the participation of Georgia in the activities of the UN and its institutions, as well as an important role in the organization in ensuring peace and development.
Bochorishvili thanked the Secretary General for the support expressed in relation to Georgia.

The parties paid special attention to the active participation of the UN in Geneva International negotiations.
The significance of UN resolutions regarding Georgia was again emphasized.
The meeting discussed security calls in the world and the region, and the importance of maintaining peace and stability in this context was also noted.

The Minister invited the Secretary General to visit Georgia and once again confirmed the readiness of the Georgian side to continue supporting the initiatives of the UN and actively participate in ensuring peace, development and solving global challenges.
