Germany Foreign Minister Annalena Berbok said that the US and Russia negotiations cannot ensure the world without the participation of Ukraine and European countries.
“The world is possible only with Ukraine and us, Europeans. For Ukraine, a stable world can be achieved only if there are reliable security guarantees and from a strong position,” the Berobok page on the FRG FRG Foreign Ministry said in the X.
She also noted that both Ukraine and Europe and the USA want peace, adding: “If Putin finally came to the idea of the end of the war against Ukraine, then this is a belated step.”
Earlier, the Kremlin reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin held a 1.5-hour conversation with US President Donald Trump.
Trump himself on the social network Truth Social said that he had a long and fruitful conversation with the Russian leader, as a result of which the parties agreed on the beginning of negotiations to stop the conflict in Ukraine.
