The Foreign Minister of Iran Hussein Amir Abdullahiyan held a telephone conversation with the Pakistani colleague Jalil Abbas Gilani. It is reported by the Iranian official news agency Irna.
According to the report, the parties discussed the state of relations between the two countries after Iranian blows through the territory of Pakistan.
Abdullahiyan assured that Tehran respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Pakistan, who considers the “friendly and fraternal neighboring country”,
According to him, the blows were directed against the organization “Jaish al-Adl”. The minister noted that the members of the group were Iranians and not a single Pakistani citizen became an object of attack.
The diplomat indicated the importance of continuing cooperation between the two countries, including in the field of fighting terrorism. The head of Iranian diplomacy said that Tehran and Islamabad should strengthen interaction in the field of security.
Gilani, in turn, noted that “Iran’s safety is also Pakistan safety.”
He emphasized that if there is a threat in Pakistan against Iran, then Islamabad is always ready to take appropriate measures.
The Foreign Minister asked the Iranian side to provide Islamabad with information about the positions and movements of terrorist groups in Pakistani territory.
Gilani emphasized that Islamabad will fight terrorist organizations in Pakistan with “its own armed forces.”
Earlier, the Iranian news agency Tasnim reported that Iran struck missiles and UAVs for the camps of the Jaish Al-Adl camp in the Pakistani Province of Belujistan. The first statement of the official authorities of Iran on this occasion was voiced by the head of the Foreign Ministry Hossein Amir Abdullahiyan.
“Jaish al-Adl” took responsibility for the attack in the southeastern Iranian city of Rasp on the border with Pakistan, as a result of which 12 people died.
Pakistan decided to recall his ambassador from Tehran in connection with the attack of Iran on the Pakistani Province of Belujistan.
