as part of the 29th meeting of the Council of Ministers of the OSCE Countries in the Polish city of Lodz, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jaykhun Bayramov met with Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister of the Netherlands Vopka Hukstra.
According to the Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry, the ministers discussed topical issues of the current bilateral agenda between Azerbaijan and the Netherlands, including the situation in the region. The parties noted the presence of potential for the development of existing connections between the two countries, the importance of continuing the political dialogue.
Bayramov informed the Dutch colleague about the new realities that have developed in the region after a 44-day Patriotic War, the process of normalizing relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, steps taken by Azerbaijan to promote a peaceful agenda. It was noted that the ongoing provocations of Armenia, including a mine threat, impede world building in the region.
