Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a telephone conversation on Friday with the head of the Netherlands diplomacy of the Hukkstroy Vopka.
According to the Turkish Foreign Ministry, Hukstra congratulated Fidan on the appointment for a new post.
The head of the Dutch diplomacy himself shared the results of the conversation. “We discussed the close ties of the Netherlands and Turkey, the consequences of destructive February earthquakes [with the epicenter in the Turkish Kazakhmanmarash]. In addition, as allies in NATO confirmed the commitment to security obligations, and also considered the issues of expanding the alliance,” wrote Hukstra Vopka.
Turkey Foreign Foreign Affairs on Friday also reported a meeting of the Turkish Foreign Minister in Istanbul with the leader of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafo Abduljamil Kyrymoglu.
