Foreign Minister of Turkey: Ankara again confirms his support for sovereignty and political unity of Big

Turkey once again confirms its unshakable support for territorial integrity, sovereignty and political unity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This was stated by the Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan at a joint press conference following a meeting of the foreign ministers of the tripartite advisory mechanism of Turkey-Bosnia and Herzegovina-Khorvaty, who took place in the Croatian city of Dubrovnik.

Fidan thanked his Croatian colleague Gordan Grlich-Radman and Foreign Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina Elmedin Konakovich for organizing a meeting at a difficult time and outside his limits.

The Foreign Minister of Turkey noted that during the meeting, fruitful discussions were aimed at improving ties between three countries and further regional cooperation.

Fidan emphasized that the close relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia are vital for the long -term world and stability in the region.

The head of Turkish diplomacy indicated that various issues were discussed at the meeting, including the latest political events in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as joint specific projects that, as the heads of departments hop, will contribute to the economic development of the region.

“Our position is well known to all sides in Bosnia and the region. I once again confirmed our unshakable support for territorial integrity, sovereignty and political unity of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” the minister said.

Fidan also expressed concern to continuing separatist statements and shares in Bosnia and Herzegovin, noting the importance of creating a consensus atmosphere to move forward.

Turkey is ready to hold this kind of meeting at a more regular level in order to encourage regional cooperation, ”he added.
