The development of relations between Ankara and Beijing will contribute to ensuring the regional and global world, prosperity and stability.
This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Hakan Fidan at a joint press conference with the Chinese colleague Van and in Beijing.
The diplomat also emphasized the importance of the cities of Kashgar and Urumchi in the PRC in the mainly populated Turkish-Uyghurs in establishing ties between Beijing and the countries of the Turkic-Islamic world. “Kashgar and Urumchi serve as a bridge between China and the Turkic world, as well as China and the Islamic world, being symbols of our historical friendship and neighborhood,” said, in particular, the Turkish Minister.
