Foreign Minister of Turkey: RKK terrorists threaten public order of EU countries

Provocations of supporters of the terrorist organization of the RSC in relation to ethnic Turks and Turkish institutions in Belgium and other European countries pose a threat to public order in these states. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Hakan Fidan during a speech in the country’s parliament.

In particular, he reminded of the attacks of accomplices of the group of ethnic Turks in Belgium on March 24, the office of the Turkish Cultural Association in France on March 25 and the Turkish Consulate General in German Hanover on March 26.

“These events once again demonstrated that the RSC poses a threat to public order in Europe where it is acting,” said the diplomat.

At the same time, the minister noted the measures taken by the French and Belgian authorities against the RSC terrorists, including those related to counteracting the financing of terrorism.

According to him, the French authorities informed the Turkish side that two guilty in the attack on the Turkish Cultural Association in the city of Marignan in the south of the country were detained and sentenced to imprisonment.

He added that the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Germany most decisively condemned the events around the Turkish Consulate General in Hanover.

Fidan indicated that as a result of the initiatives of Ankara, the Belgian authorities announced the inadmissibility of expression of support for the RSC, since it was included in the EU terrorist organizations.

The head of the Turkish Foreign Ministry called on the mentioned countries to take further immediate measures to identify those involved in attacks and hold them accountable, as well as to strengthen security measures for Turkish representative offices.
