Foreign Minister Of Ukraine Discussed Support Of Ukraine And Cooperation With Allies In Paris

Foreign Minister Andrei Sibiga during a two-day visit to France on February 12-13 took part in a number of important international events and negotiations.

One of the key events was a meeting of the heads of foreign policy departments of France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Poland, Great Britain, as well as senior representatives of the European Commission. The main topic of discussion was the coordination of the actions of European allies with the new US administration and strengthening Euro -Atlantic security.

Sibiga emphasized that Ukraine is ready to play a significant role in ensuring the security of the region, relying on the combat -ready army, advanced technologies, defense industry and unique military experience. According to the results of the meeting, the ministers adopted a joint statement confirming the adherence to the support of Ukraine, its independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity against the background of Russian aggression.

As part of the visit, the Foreign Minister of Ukraine also met with representatives of the leading defense companies in France, which are part of the GICAT Federation. The parties discussed projects aimed at satisfying the urgent needs of the Ukrainian defense forces, as well as promising cooperation in the field of military technologies and the possible investments of France in Ukrainian arms production.

In addition, Sibiga held bilateral negotiations with Foreign Minister Foreign Foreign Jean-Nonela Barro and Egyptian Foreign Minister Badrom Abdulati, focusing on key aspects of bilateral interaction.

The head of Ukrainian diplomacy also held telephone conversations with the Foreign Ministers of the Czech Republic Yan Lipavsky and Estonia Margus Tsakhkna, and also first talked with the new US Secretary of State Mark Rubio.

In addition, the minister held a meeting with the team of the Ukrainian embassy, ​​expressed gratitude to the diplomats for their work and outlined priority areas of activity for the coming period.
