The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiir Saidov met on Tuesday with the Deputy Secretary General of the UN, Executive Director of the UN-Winness structure of Sima, Iskandar Bakhus.
“We express our gratitude to Mr. Bakhus for the constant support of reforms aimed at creating the best conditions for women and girls in our country,” the head of the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan wrote in his Telegram channel.
Saidov noted that one of the main priorities of the Government of Uzbekistan on the way to achieving long -term prosperity is to ensure gender equality, to promote the expansion of the rights and capabilities of women, the realization of their potential in society.
Sima Iskandar Bachus itself arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in the Asian forum women.
