The Foreign Minister of Pakistan Bilan Zardari held a telephone conversation with the head of the US State Department Anthony Blinken.
According to the Pakistan Foreign Ministry, the parties discussed a number of issues, including bilateral relations and regional security.
Zardari during a telephone conversation emphasized Pakistan’s intention to develop cooperation with the States.
According to him, Pakistan pays great attention to the development of economic and trade relations, and also expresses hope for the development of cooperation in the issue of climatic changes and the development of green energy.
He also thanked the American side for supporting the Stand-By-by agreement with the IMF.
Zardari emphasized the importance of constructive relations between Pakistan and the United States to strengthen peace, security and ensure development in the region.
The parties discussed regional security issues, including the threat of terrorism, confirmed their desire for close cooperation in the name of a durable world and stability in Afghanistan.
