The Cyprus problem is that the Greek part of the island is defined as the Republic of Cyprus. And this problem is created by the consisting of 5 regular members of the UN Security Council.
This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRSK) Tahsin Ertugoglogla at a press conference with the Turkish colleague Khakan Fidan in Ankara.
Ertugoglogla noted that he comprehensively discussed the Cyprus problem with the Foreign Minister.
in other words, while you treat the Greek side as the “Republic of Cyprus”, you do nothing but the continuation of the problem you created, ”said the Foreign Minister.
He recalled the negotiations of 2017 in Kran-Montan. The negotiation process failed due to the uncompromising position of the Greek side, added Ertugogllo.
