The Red Army Terrorist Organization “driven into a corner” as a result of operations of the Turkish Armed Forces, and now the accomplices of the group are terrorizing European countries that showed tolerance. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Hakan Fidan.
“What has happened in Europe in recent days is indicative,” the minister said, having recent attacks of supporters of the RSC on ethnic Turks in a number of cities of Belgium.
“The more we strike, the more RSC is driven into a corner. The more it turns out to be driven into a corner, the more terrorizes the countries that showed tolerance against the RSC for years. Our state protects compatriots under any circumstances. The question is very simple “:-he added.
According to him, in Ankara they immediately responded to what was happening, calling on the Belgian authorities to urgent measures in connection with incidents. Fidan said that on the same evening he had a telephone conversation with the Belgian colleague Hajoy Lahbib to discuss the situation. “I emphasized our sensitivity to what is happening and our expectations (from the Belgian authorities),” the minister said
The Foreign Minister added that Turkish diplomatic representatives in Belgium held meetings with the members of the Turkish diaspora in the cities where the incidents occurred.
He noted that thanks to the restraint of the members of the Turkish community of Belgium, and the effective intervention of the Belgian security agencies managed to prevent the escalation of incidents.
According to Fidan, Ankara is closely monitoring the development of the situation. The Minister said that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan personally called the victims as a result of attacks, and wished for a speedy recovery.
He recalled that similar provocations took place in France and Germany. “On the eve of the evening in Germany, they got to the point that we attacked our general consulate in Hanover. We immediately undertook the necessary initiatives in Ankara and Berlin. We said that we expect the attackers to hold accountable, ”he said.
