Foreign Ministers Of UAE And Syria Met In Abu Dhabi

Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Abdulla Bin Zaed Al Nahayan and Foreign Minister of the Provisional Government of Syria Esaad Hassan Shebani discussed the strengthening of relations between two countries and regional events. >

According to the report published by the OAE OAE WAM, Al Nahayan and Shebani met in Abu Dhabi.

During the meeting, ministers discussed ways to strengthen friendly relations between two countries and fraternal peoples in important areas, events in friendly Syria and regional issues.

Al Nahayan emphasized the unchanging position of his country in supporting the “independence and sovereignty of Syria in all its territories”.

He stated that the UAE supports the fraternal Syrian people and support all regional and international efforts to achieve the requirements of the Syrian people to security, peace, stability and dignity.

The Foreign Minister of the UAE emphasized the need to provide the Syrian people with all safety and stability factors for the future, complete prosperity, progress and development.

The meeting was attended by the State Minister for Defense of the UAE Muhammad Bin Mubarak Fadal al-Mizrui, the State Minister of the UAE on international cooperation Rome Bint Ibragim al-Khashiy and the State Minister Khalifa Shahin. The Syrian delegation included the Minister of Defense of the Provisional Government Murhef Abu Kasra, the Minister of Electricity Omar Ash-Shakruk, the Minister of Oil Giyas Diyab and the head of the general intelligence service of Anas Huttab.

According to the Syrian News Agency (SANA), published on social networks, on January 5, Sheybani visited the capital of Qatar Dochu as part of his foreign tour.

According to this information, the Syrian minister also plans to visit Jordan.
