Since February 6, 513 citizens of Azerbaijan and members of their families – citizens of foreign states were evacuated from the earthquake zone in Turkey in Azerbaijan.

“The process of evacuation continues and covers Kamhramanmarash, Hatai, Adae, Malaya, Adyyaman, Gaziantep, Chanlyurf, Osmani, Kilis and Diyarbakyr,” the message says.
Work on the identification and assistance of Azerbaijan citizens affected by the earthquake in Turkey is conducted by operational headquarters created at the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Azerbaijan Embassy in Turkey, Consulate Generals in Istanbul and Kars with intensive cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Education , health care and other institutions of the country, explained in the department.
“At the same time, we bring to the attention of our citizens living or temporarily residing in the zone of earthquakes that do not intend to evacuate to Azerbaijan that for those who want to leave these territories by the divisions of the gendarmerie, evacuation points were created. Evacuation in safe areas of Turkey is provided with means which the relevant bodies of Turkey consider the most suitable, ”the Foreign Ministry said.
