The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has extended a statement in connection with April 4 – International Day of Enlightenment on Mine Danger and Assistance Activities.
As reported by the Foreign Ministry, today there is an international day of enlightenment on mine danger and assistance in activities related to demining. In this regard, Azerbaijan again expresses serious concern about the presence of a huge amount of mines established by Armenia in the deoccupied territories and the refusal of the Armenian government to provide maps of these minefields.
The statement states that Armenia’s refusal to provide Azerbaijan with mining fields is a serious violation of international humanitarian law.
Foreign Ministry brings to the information that after signing on November 10, 2020, 20 citizens of Azerbaijan killed in the liberated territories on the released territories, including 14 civilians, 85 people received heavy injuries: “Azerbaijan has repeatedly called for international The public condemn the death of people from the Armenia Min.
