Belarusian Foreign Minister Sergei Aleinik said that one of the key supports on which the real sovereignty of any state is based, this is an independent foreign policy.

According to him, the strength of the Belarusian foreign policy in an honest view of the world and a heightened sense of justice.
“What is still especially important and valuable – our strength is to read out our national interests. In addition to our people and their interests, we do not have more hegemones. This is the basis from which we can build on and be confident in tomorrow” , – emphasized the diplomat.
Belarusian foreign policy is not aimed at mythical values, but at specific goals – the protection of the national interests of the state, Aleinik said.
“It is quite obvious that one of the key supports on which the real sovereignty of any state is based is an independent foreign policy. And our foreign policy also firmly stands on the huge creative potential of our people. We go in making certain decisions as the head of our state very accurately noticed from the Earth and from life. And no pressure can turn us from this path. In the end, our foreign policy is aimed not at any mythical or abstract values, but at completely specific goals – our national interests, ”Aleinik emphasized.
This, according to the minister, is primarily ensuring national security, creating conditions for sustainable development of the economy and increasing the well -being of citizens.
At the same time, the head of the foreign policy noted noted that Belarus had never had global ambitions, she always really evaluated her role and her place in the world balance of forces.
