“The process of delimitation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is at the initial stage, and Moscow regrets that it does not do without disruption.” This was announced in an interview with the Russian media by the director of the fourth department of the CIS countries of the Russian Foreign Ministry Denis Gonchar.
According to him, since the process of delimitation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is at the initial stage, the task of Russia is to create the necessary conditions to ensure maximum efficiency of work, to help increase the level of stability and security in the borderlands, without interference in this activity from the outside, as well as avoiding politicization and exacerbations in border issues.
“On the night of September 13, the situation in the Armenian -Azerbaijani Borderlands worsened sharply,” said the potter.
He recalled that the Russian Foreign Ministry urged the parties to refrain from further escalation, show restraint and strictly observe the ceasefire.
