The alleged framework document between Armenia and Azerbaijan contains the general principles on which the relations of the two countries should be built, the deputy head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Paruyr Ovannisyan told reporters.
Ovannisyan emphasized that the negotiations are currently on the basis of the proposals of Yerevan and Baku, noting that the general principles include the mutual recognition of territorial integrity in accordance with the declaration in Alma-Ata from 1991.
Speaking about the subject of negotiations, the deputy head of the Armenian Foreign Ministry noted that there are no Russian, French, European or American options, there are exclusively Armenian and Azerbaijani options.
“The negotiation process is now in different directions: a peace treaty, demarcation and delimitation of borders, unlocking communications,” said Ovannisyan.
