Foreign Ministry Of Azerbaijan: Yerevan Refuses To Disclose Location Of Missing

Armenia refuses to disclose the whereabouts of the missing, the international community should take decisive steps.

This is stated in the publication of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan in X on the occasion of the International Day of victims of violent disappearance on August 30.

The department emphasized the need to shed light on the fate of citizens who missed during the Armenian occupation and conflict.

“Despite the detection of numerous mass burials after the liberation of our territories, Armenia continues to refuse to disclose the whereabouts of the missing persons,” the department said.

The Foreign Ministry attracted attention to the fact that families with about 4,000 people have been waiting for their loved ones for decades, and receiving information about their relatives is their main right.

“The international community must take decisive steps to clarify the fate of the missing persons. Azerbaijan will continue to make efforts to find out the fate of the missing Azerbaijanis,” the publication says.
