Foreign Ministry Of Moldova: Path To Solid World For Ukraine Should Be Based On International Law

The Republic of Moldova supports the world in Ukraine and is ready to contribute to international efforts to terminate the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Moldova Mikhai Popshoy at the Ukrainian-Southeast Europe summit in the Croatian Dubrovnik, Moldipres reports.

“Moldova fully supports the formula of the world proposed by President Vladimir Zelensky – the only effective plan for restoring the world. The path to the solid world for Ukraine should be founded on international law. At this decisive moment, the support of Ukraine should be even stronger. Ukraine should withstand, Ukraine should survive, Because we are talking not only about the protection of its territory, but also about the protection of the future of Europe and our common values ​​- freedom and democracy, ”Mikhai Popshoy said.

Vice Prime Minister noted that ensuring the lasting world in Ukraine is important for the Republic of Moldova, as well as for other states that strive to join the European Union.

Pepshoy thanked the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky for fighting not only for the security of Ukraine, but also for the safety of the Republic of Moldova.

The summit has collected the heads of state and governments to discuss the further support of Ukraine in order to restore the durable world in the European space and the support of efforts to join the EU countries, including the Republic of Moldova.

Pepshoy also met with the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Croatia Gordan Grlink Radman on the fields of the event.

The Summit of Ukraine – Southeast Europe was the third time. The first two meetings in this format were held in Greece and Albania.
