Mongolia is committed to strengthening cooperation with Latvia as part of the UN and international organizations.
This is the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Nyamdorzhin Angbayar announced at a meeting with the ambassador of Latvia to Ulan-Bator Maya Manica, Montsame reports.
Interlocutors discussed issues of expanding bilateral relations and cooperation between Ulan Bator and Riga.
Secretary of State confirmed that the department has been acting for the active conduct of interminant consultations and dialogues.
Angbayar also thanked Latvia for the support of initiatives put forward by Mongolia at the international and regional levels.
In turn, the ambassador assured that she intends to make efforts for the development of bilateral relations and cooperation in the field of economics, transport, culture and humanitarian activities, and expressed a desire to activate relations between citizens during the diplomatic mission in the Ulan Bator.
