Moscow welcomes the mood of Armenia and Turkey to launch a dialogue on the normalization of relations, stated in an interview with RIA Novosti MFA Ministry of Foreign Affairs Andrei Rudenko.
“Normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations would undoubtedly contribute to the improvement of the general situation in the region. From this point of view, we welcome the actively demonstrated by Ankara and Yerevan. Recently, set to launch a bilateral dialogue. With satisfaction, we note the appointment of special representatives to discuss the difficult matter of normalization,” – said Rudenko.
There are no diplomatic relations between Turkey and Armenia, the border between the two countries is closed since 1993.
