Foreign Ministry Of Russian Federation: Lavrov Will Take Part In Diplomatic Forum In Antalya

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will visit Turkey on April 12 to participate in a diplomatic forum in Antalya (ADF). This was stated at a briefing by the official representative of the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova.

“On April 12, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will visit Turkey at the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Turkish Republic [Khakana Fidan] to participate in the fourth Antalian diplomatic forum,” said the diplomat.

She noted that during the event, the performance of the Russian minister and the holding of bilateral meetings with foreign colleagues are planned. “It is supposed to discuss the key aspects of the international agenda, including the situation in the Middle East, North Africa, Transcaucasia, the Black Sea region, as well as topical issues of relations with individual states,” Zakharova said.

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry also said that there were no appeals from the Ukrainian side with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation at the diplomatic forum in Antalya.

The fourth Antalian Diplomatic Forum (ADF2025) will be held at the NEST Congress Center in the Belek tourist region under the patronage of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey on April 11-13.
