Turkey will continue to contribute to ensuring peace and stability in the international arena, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said about the exchange of prisoners between the United States and Russia.

The written statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey says that Ankara has been conducted the most complex exchange operation recently, within the framework of which 26 prisoners who are in prisons of seven different countries, namely the United States, Germany, Poland were exchanged. , Slovenia, Norway, Russia and Belarus.

The statement reports that in the framework of the exchange of 10 hostages, including two children, 13 hostages – Germany and 3 hostages were transferred to Russia, the United States from among people delivered to Turkey with a total of 7 aircraft – 2 from the United States and on One of Germany, Poland, Slovenia, Norway and Russia.

“From the very beginning of the negotiation process to the last moment of the exchange of security, logistics planning and the needs of the exchange event were carried out by the National Intelligence Organization of Turkey.
