Foreign Ministry Of Turkey: Evacuation Of Turkish Citizens From Lebanon Will Be Held By Sea On October 9

The evacuation of Turkish citizens from Lebanon by a request by the sea will be organized on Wednesday, October 9, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said.

In this regard, it is expected that on Tuesday, October 8, two Turkish Navy ships will go to Beirut. “The total capacity of our courts is about 2 thousand passengers. Detailed information about the evacuation process will also be transferred to our citizens who have already applied to the consular call center,” the press service of the department said.

If necessary, evacuation operations will continue in the following days, noted in the Foreign Ministry.

“Completed preparations for satisfying the needs of our citizens upon arrival in Turkey. In addition, ships allocated for evacuation will also deliver humanitarian aid to Lebanon,” the department added.
