Foreign Ministry Of Turkey: Kashkayshi Declaration Emphasizes Determination Of Fight Against All Forms Of Discrimination

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey has published a written statement following the results of the 10th Global Forum of the UN Civilizations Alliance, held in Kashkaysh (Portugal) on November 25-27.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey stated that in the Kashkaysha declaration adopted at the 10th global forum of the UN civilizations alliance, the determination is emphasized to fight all forms of discrimination.

The statement notes that the 10th Global Forum of the UN Civilizations Alliance, one of the organizers of which Turkey has been since 2005, was accepted by Portugal on November 25-27.

Foreign Ministry notes that Kashkaysha’s declaration was adopted with the participation of Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.

“The declaration emphasizes the contribution of the dialogue and the interaction between different cultures into peaceful and harmonious coexistence, as well as the determination to continue the struggle against racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia, religious intolerance and all forms of discrimination,” the Foreign Ministry emphasizes.

According to the statement, it is unacceptable to associate the violent discrimination with any religion, nationality, civilization or ethnic group.

“Türkiye will continue the struggle against all types of discrimination, especially anti -Islamism, at the global level and will support the alliance of civilizations,” the Turkish foreign policy said in a statement of the foreign policy.
