Ukraine will stand side by side with Moldova in order to prevent the intervention of the Russian Federation in the internal affairs of the country.
This is the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba said at a joint press conference in Kyiv jointly with the Moldova Foreign Minister, the Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“We fully support the integrity of Moldova, condemn any attempts to attract Russia to solving the domestic political issues of Moldova,” Kuleba said.
All political “games” that the Kremlin is trying to lead in Transnistria and Gagauzia are doomed to failure, but they “take a lot of energy and create additional risks,” said the head of Ukrainian diplomacy.
“Here we will stand tightly side by side in order to prevent this external intervention of Russia in internal affairs (Moldova, – Ed.), – Kuleba assured.
The minister said that he discussed the security situation in the region and in Ukraine, as well as joint steps with partners to restore peace and security.
